The mid-morning rainstorm had ruined his plans to play in the park. When the sun returned, he lifting the paper shade, and peered through the window. I saw the opportunity and greeted him from the other side with the lens. He just stared back.
Later in the day, I noticed other lines with a bit more color and a brighter disposition....

I did send in three pics this week for the "White" theme. I didn't send this one because I don't know if they like faces in the pics. (I could send in a different version of the same pic...hmmm)
Lately, the quality of the pics shown on the BBC is out of control. Pro's for sure have jumped in, and non-Pros that are really, really great.
I look at the theme each week and force myself to engage it for few hours each week. In the end, I enjoy comparing what I shoot to what I think they want at the BBC.
It's very relaxing...better than yoga :)

This is the purple echinacea...just a cluster of them in our neighborhood pool parking lot. I know this won't sound too manly, but I like staring at that flower.... it's mesmerizing. Weird.
that is totally manly!! i love them. i bought some a couple of years ago that were a red/orangy color. but they didn't do so well. they were pretty though.
