Asymmetry and Adolescence...

Her choice of socks is playful...and girlish.

Her eyes when accidentally framed, seem to belong to someone much older...

This weekend, I appreciated her preteen form much how she displayed it...with great flexibility.

Give her lots of hugs and kisses now before she gets too embarrassed and wants to hang out with her friends more than her daddy....time really flies and sometimes you just want to hold on to their tenderness and innocence for as long as possible....

I know.... Thankfully, the embarrassed to be with dad, has not surfaced. Oddly, she insists that I wear my red suede Puma sneakers, jeans, and a black turtleneck if I stop by her school. Weather permitting, I have obliged. It is difficult to imagine a day without her.

Remember those crazy lazy days in Guayama.... Who would've thought that life would cast us adrift and we would be scattered so far away from each other.

Yes, I often think about those days in Guayama when it seemed like our family close and extended was so close and we really enjoyed hanging out with each other. I miss you guys, the Roviras, and all the other wonderful cousins....
