Signs of Spring...

Sunday morning began with an uninspiring gray fog.
So, I went for a walk in search of color,
and found some, in unexpected places....

The female Cardinals were building nests (if you look closely...they have strands of brush in their beaks). And, the boy Cardinals were swarming around for attention, showing off and making all sorts of noise. Reminds me of the times the cousins got together at the beach decades ago... :)

Hi Ken, beautiful pictures indeed! I love those with the birds, they make me feel like doing woodcuts out of them!!

I remember the woodcut you made of the Toucan (is that correct?) and the print of "strength" with its definition. You sent it to Dani ...last year. That was impressive artistry. I could take pictures of your woodcuts... :) a crazy feeling of artistic involution... si algún día nos encontramos en Sicilia. Abrazos-K.

Hi Ken, you show me that sometimes less color is better to say a lot of things. Beautiful pictures.
