a Beetle at the BBC...

Today the BBC's photoblog, Viewfinder, led their post with a familiar set of footprints.

omg, kenito, when i first saw this picture on your slide show, i said to myself, if the bbc doesn't pick this one up, they're nuts!!! and there you have it. brilliant picture!!! i might want to order a print of this one.

@Margara: This is the same beetle, different photo. (I really like both of them.) I ran around this poor beetle for almost 30 minutes. I can only imagine what some of the Sicilian "beech goers" thought about the crazy guy with the camera. If you want a print let me know...either one would look great in 8 x 10, or larger.

@Amalia: I can only imagine all the great desert critters in your backyard...maybe if I visit, I can walk around with Jo and look for scorpions. :)
